My Experience...

I've been told I have a gift for seeing the potential for change in the most difficult circumstances, and the skills to stimulate personal acts of leadership that makes things happen.

If so, it comes from experience...
thirty five years of it at every level in organizations of all sizes, shapes, products and services.

My roots: grassroots community organizing, learning the nuts and bolts of political strategy, leadership development, and how to mobilize a constituency for change.

My education: a Masters in behavioral sciences with an emphasis on thinking systemically to manage complexity in relationships and organizations.

Both figure into my practice giving me the savvy to know what works ‘on the street,’ and the big picture to suggest approaches that leverage faster, broader, deeper changes.

And experience has made me a quick learner and just as quick to challenge assumptions if I think it can help my clients get better results. They don’t want me to stand on ceremony about this, and I don’t.

I also bring from experience a leadership model^© that invites clients to consider their own hopes, beliefs, and values as, in fact, their most compelling case for the changes they’re after.

Perhaps this is why my work attracts people who seek as much the personal growth as professional rewards of their work. They seem to enjoy the stretch and give others a reason to as well.
